Shrimp containers stranded in Chinese ports

More than 1.000 containers of shrimp from at least 50 Indian exporters are currently stuck in Chinese ports with a value of USD 160.6 million, as reported by The New Indian Express on last July 21st.
Half of the 50 exporters are from Andhra Pradesh, the largest shrimp-producing state in India. Their permissions to export to China were suspended after Chinese authorities said traces of COVID-19 were detected on the packaging containing their shrimp.
It’s been nearly two months since their exports were blocked but it’s not clear so far whether the containers could be cleared from the ports or bring them back. Indian and China officials are in discussions through diplomatic channels to address it.
China is strictly checking seafood imports claiming contain traces of COVID-19, issuing temporary bans on dozens of companies from different countries found to have shipped seafood with packaging contaminated by coronavirus.

Despite all difficulties because of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic for the last one a half year, with increasing prices and short supply of raw materials and higher than ever freight cost, our factory in Thailand continue production and supply to all our customers not only in Thailand but increasing Exports worldwide.

Export of high quality and safe additives with competitive prices from Thailand is the main purpose of our company.

Our BNS Brand Food Additives have been shipped during this last year to customers in U.A.E., Indonesia, Singapore, Pakistan, China, India and Malaysia.

In the meantime, and although Vietnam is presently following more stringent social distancing and strictest lockdown measures and restrictions to control the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, specially in HochiMinh city and the Mekong delta where our Vietnam factory is located, we are continuing our production and supply for our Vietnam customers.

We have available a modern Factory inagurated in February 2020 with high technology machinery which provides us the capacity for the manufacturing and Export/Distribution.

The Factory comprises several separated and connected buildings with the main office building at the entrance.

Laboratory equiped with technical and human resorces not only to control the quality of each and every lot of our additives, but also innovative additives.

COVID-19 DELAYS INAGURAL SEAFOOD EXPO GLOBAL IN BARCELONA

Concerns and continued uncertainties caused by the on-going Covid-19 situation worldwide, made it necessary to cancel again this 2021 edition.

The 28^th edition of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global will now take place 26-28 April 2022.

Hopefully we’ll be able to meet again our customers and friends face to face.

We can’t wait to see you all in Barcelona on 26-28 April 2022!
